The evolution of SDVs represents a transformative shift in the automotive industry, propelled by advancements in software, connectivity, and automation. Initially, vehicles were predominantly hardware-centric, with limited software integration mainly focused on engine control and basic functionalities. SDVs will bring significant changes for OEMs and suppliers across various aspects of their business.
During this presentation, you will get insights to:
I am a Software Engineer working as a Program Manager for the software and electronics architecture and complete system design where I lead one of the newest vehicle programs at Volvo Cars built on top of Volvo's newest electrical platform. Before this, I was representing Volvo Cars in the modelling group of the AUTOSAR consortium for several years.
I also love academia. I received my PhD from the University of Gothenburg in the area of software architecture design. I have been a part-time teacher at Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg in the area of software development for many years. When it comes to research, I supervise one PhD project on architectural design and verification of machine learning systems.
