Marcel Niefindt works for Cymotive Technologies as Global Group Manager Risk and Architecture and is worldwide responsible for this delivery unit. Mr Niefindt has more than 18 years experience in automotive security. His specialization is in application security and DevSecOps. He is holding a master’s degree in security management with focus on IT-Forensic. Besides his professional work, he was teaching a “Secure System Lifecycle Management” master’s course at the Technical University of Brandenburg. Furthermore, Mr. Niefindt published a book about “Vulnerability detection in corporates by using Threat Modelling” as well as he did publish multiple articles about Secure Software Development. During his time as Mentor at the SANS institute and as freelance penetration tester, he was giving presentations at multiple conferences in Europe.
