Stefan Kugele is a research fellow (civil servant academic staff) at the chair of Software & Systems Engineering in the Department of Informatics at the Technical University of Munich where he has been a faculty member since 2006.

Mr Kugele completed his PhD at TUM in 2012, and he received a diploma (comparable with M.Sc. degree) in computer science with minor electrical engineering from TUM in 2006.
His research interest in computer science is in the areas of automotive software & systems engineering, architecture optimization, applied formal methods, and model-based engineering.
