Daniel Wedekind did his PhD in electrical and computer engineering with focus on data fusion for contact-less biomedical signal measurements with application (but not limited) to automotive environments at TU Dresden, Germany. Following his research time, he joined JOYNEXT as a software developer for online services for in-vehicle infotainment systems in 2017. After several further positions as team lead of the navigation Data Fusion team as well as of the Product Management, Daniel Wedekind became Senior Manager of the Platform Base department at Joynext in 2022. There he is responsible for the system base functions as well as cloud functions of JOYNEXT’s platform and drives the topic over-the-air update (OTA) for vehicles within JOYNEXT.
