Since beginning of 2023 Andreas Schmid is Global Head of Functional Safety & Cyber Security in System House Vehicle Motion Control (VMC) at the ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
He is responsible for defining the strategic & operational targets for holistic functional safety & cyber security concepts in the chassis domain.
By this, one key outcome is the Out Of Context approach for the ZF „Software as a product“ (SaaP) called cubiX® - Integrated Chassis Control Software, that fully supports the paradigm shift of SDV.
